To become the world’s greatest baker, we need the world’s greatest team members   Overview   The Quality Assurance Technician is critical to ensuring safe food is manufactured at the facilities. This position spends most of the time in the plants ensuring the product specifications are met and the controls are being followed. The Quality Assurance Technician assists Quality Control in correcting deficiencies through communication to production management.   What FGF Offers - FGF believes in Home Grown Talent, accelerated career growth with leadership training, unleashing your potential   - Competitive Compensation, Health & Welfare Benefits including Vision & Dental and flexible options at competitive premiums   - 401k matching program  - Discount program - Restaurants, gyms, shopping, etc.  - Tuition reimbursement    Responsibilities - Periodically verifies product weights and the metal detector and x-ray challenge. - Notifies management of observed needs on the production floor relating to quality or food safety. - Supports compliance with internal and external policies, procedures, guidelines and governance under the FGF quality Manual and the food safety and quality programs. - Ensures glass and hard plastic is mapped correctly and accounted for monthly. - Initiates maintenance requests when necessary. - Works with production team members ensure disposed product is deemed undesirable by quality standards. - Performs pre-operational inspections daily to assure compliance with GMP standards. - Effectively tests and inspects products at various stages of production process. - Compiles statistical data and notifies Quality Management of quality and reliability of products. - Performs quality and packaging verification for testing as required for product being produced. - Role models food safety, HACCP, and good manufacturing practices. - Records information both electronically and manually accurately and legibly. - Follows attendance policy. Observes department call-in procedures.  Exhibits timely arrival and departure and dependable time habits including meal and other breaks. - Maintains a positive attitude and gets along well with coworkers. - Exhibits teamwork and willingness to help others. - Follows dress code and maintains a professional appearance. - Can be relied upon to complete assigned tasks. - Complies with established Departmental and Organizational policies and procedures. - Works within a team environment to meet/exceed established production standards. Requirements - High School diploma or equivalent preferred - 1-2 years’ work experience with GMP’s, HACCP and BRC (food manufacturing preferred) - Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate in English with all levels of the organization. - Ability to visually inspect product and the building. - Ability to use Microsoft Office and learn computer data entry programs.   What is the recipe for a great career at FGF?    Working at FGF Brands, there is never a dull moment!
