Team Leader - Freezer Warehouse

Overview

To perform all duties as assign by Team Leader- Freezer Warehouse within Good Manufacturing Practices guidelines and government standards.

 Shift- Monday-Thursday 6:00am-4:00pm-Pay Rate: $26.50

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and motivation to team members.
• Ensuring safe work conditions for team members.
• Improving team member performance and development through coaching.
• Train team members to job procedures.
• Work with other Team Leaders on continuous improvement projects.
• Interface with support departments.
• Inventory control and reconciliation.
• Monitors performance and tracks attendance and vacation approval.
• Lead shift meetings on a regular basis.
• Inspect incoming equipment for safety and cleanliness.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Adheres to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards as well as HAACP compliance and other food safety and workplace safety initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma required.
• Additional training in a 2 or 4-year post secondary program is preferred.
• Must be a Certified Forklift Operator
• Is consistent with quality work performance
• Proficient in MS Office
• Ability to solve problems using math, data, and troubleshooting skills
• Must be able to understand and follow directions
• Must have verbal and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to read, write and understand instructions, warnings, labels and postings in English effectively.
